SOLAR SHADES

The Air Frame is designed to support the exterior cover with a built-in solar shade, an insulated interior cover, floor and a removable insulated blanket.

The solar shade is an energy-efficient, open-knitted material which provides a buffer from the sun and extreme heat by allowing air to flow through to keep temperatures moderate within the shelter. It provides 85% shading factor resulting in a 15°F to 20°F temperature differential, and when used in conjunction with an ECU and or with a power generator it can reduce fuel costs significantly.
